We use third-party service providers, Squarespace and MailChimp to maintain this website and protect all your data. Squarespace and MailChimp have a security team dedicated to keeping personal information safe. Both providers maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards that are intended to appropriately protect against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse and any other unlawful form of processing of, the personal information in our possession. Both providers employ security measures such as using firewalls to protect against intruders, building redundancies throughout our network (so that if one server goes down, another can cover for it) and testing for and protecting against network vulnerabilities. 

How we retain your personal information

Our third-party service providers, SquareSpace and MailChimp to retain personal information regarding you or your use of the Services for as long as your Personal Profile is active or for as long as needed to provide you or our Users with the Services. Please refer to Squarespace and MailChimp policies for detailed information about how your information is retained. 

You may delete your Personal Profile by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footnote of any of our newsletters or by contacting us at alena@alenahuberova.com and we will delete the personal information it holds about you (unless we need to retain it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy).

Your rights and choices

Where applicable law requires (and subject to any relevant exceptions under law), you may have the right to access, update, change or delete personal information.

You can access, update, change or delete personal information either directly in your Personal Profile or by contacting us at alena@alenahuberova.com to request the required changes. You can exercise your other rights (including deleting your Personal Profile) by contacting us at the same email address.

You can also elect not to receive marketing communications by changing your preferences in your Personal Profile or by following the unsubscribe instruction in the footnote of any of our newsletters. 

Updates to this Privacy Policy

We’ll update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, our business operations or any other reason we determine is necessary or appropriate. When we make changes, we’ll update the “Effective Date” at the top of the Privacy Policy. 

Visitors to our website

When someone visits www.alenahuberova.com we use third party reporting platforms, Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. These reporting platforms give us insight into how our site is performing. With Analytics, we can get a clear picture of our visitors and their behaviour through visual reports on statistics like page-views, conversion, sales, referrers, and popular content. We do not make, and do not allow Squarespace or Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. Newsletter sign-up

We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter.
